Europapark I'm coming

In the early morning I got up before everyone else, it was time to shower, make up and get dressed. Of course, putting on make-up takes a little longer if you don't do it every day of your life, but I was also ready for breakfast on time. Then we made our way to Rust. Sure, my tension increased the closer we got to Europapark. Then it was finally time, we parked near the entrance and I had to leave the car retreat.

Like all other women, I had to open my handbag and have it checked. This was done in an absolutely professional manner and without any stupid looks, which gave me a good feeling and I felt a bit accepted. Alexa, Claudia's little daughter, had very clear ideas about where and on which paths she wanted to take me. She kept grabbing my hand and showing me “her” Europapark. At one ride, she warned me that I had to watch my wig because it was so fast. I found it absolutely sweet how naturally she dealt with Nicole. It would be nice if all people had even a hint of it and could at least resist the pejorative looks.

I was so glad I chose the jeans and flat boots as my outfit. Firstly, I faded into the audience more than with a skirt and secondly, it was much more practical when constantly in and out of the sometimes quite low attractions that Alexa had chosen. Not that I really got used to queuing with other people very close, but I was getting better at it. This led to me finally getting involved in the Voletarium after a small snack. I actually wanted to send Claudia ahead, but in the end I had to place my order myself.

I had by far underestimated the queue to the Voletarium. More than half an hour in a queue that was looped through the rooms was quite exhausting for me. There was hardly any opportunity to avoid the looks or supposed looks of other visitors. Maybe one or the other look was misinterpreted by me, but there were enough that were very clear. Even after the truly grandiose experience, which was actually worth the effort, I had the impression that I was seeing increasingly more of it. Finally, a small group even pointed fingers at me and laughed.

The increasing relaxation of the morning had turned into the opposite. More about the end of my trip and my nerves next time.

Until then

Your Nicole
