A very special day

Today is a very special day for me. As of today, my name is displayed correctly in Outlook and Teams. I can hardly believe I'm seeing it. But what happened?

A few weeks ago, I informed my boss's boss about Nicole and received positive feedback and support from him, just as I had from my boss before. Not only that, but a little later, thanks to his initiative, I learned how seriously my bank takes the issue and is positioning itself accordingly. Diversity is not just a slogan to present oneself well, but a clear position that is adopted internally and externally and, above all, lived out.

Admittedly, it has certainly been very confusing for many people lately. On the one hand, what one saw, for example, in the video and what was displayed, and on the other, what the name was in the email and how many colleagues addressed me and how I signed. I am very happy that this will be consistent from today on. There will certainly be some confusion for a while because I'm no longer in the address book or the display of information is different, but at least it all fits together now.

A very significant day, about which there's nothing more to say other than that I'm grateful for the support I've received, not only personally but also professionally.
